If you order a review
We use your name, email address, business name, website address and location to carry out the order and send your report. This is needed to perform our contract with you. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we do not see your full card details.
If you subscribe to monitoring
We use your business name, website address, alert email and the permission you give us to run hourly checks and send you alerts. We keep these details for as long as you subscribe. Payments and subscriptions are handled by Stripe.
If we emailed you about your website
We use business contact details published on company websites and public company records to tell firms about a problem we've spotted on their site. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in offering our service to businesses. If you tell us to stop, we add your email address to a do-not-contact list so that we don't email you again.
Who helps us
We use service providers to run the business, and they handle data on our behalf:
- Stripe, for payments
- Google, for email
- n8n, to run our order and email systems
- AI, web-page retrieval and PDF providers, to help prepare reports from your public web pages
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK.
How long we keep it
We clear customer names and email addresses from our order records after about 90 days. We may keep financial records for longer where the law requires it. We keep do-not-contact entries so that we can continue to honour them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to stop emailing you. Write to info@survivorreviews.co.uk.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
